Along with its many purported healing properties; lavender both looks good and smells good. Since Smell-O-Vision was a bust at the movies; we have no plans to introduce perfumed frames or lenses. (Although a rose scent on a rose-tinted lens would be awesome!) But even if no lavender aroma wafts from the translucent lavender model of this full-rim; rectangular; wide-width; plastic eyeglasses frame; the glasses look so good their beautiful simplicity is tonic enough. And when we add lightly patterned; midnight blue temple arms; which are highlighted on the top with translucent green; the frame is gorgeous; both in this model and its other version – a dappled; animal-print tortoiseshell inside and out. With stainless steel rods embedded in the temple arms to make them easy to adjust; these glasses are as functional as they are attractive. Considering the animal-print tortoiseshell model; it’s probably a good thing we don’t offer perfumed frames and lenses – eau de jungle cat? We don’t think so.
