A fine hand-made blank book. I do traditional Smyth-sewn bindings, with hand-sewn signatures. This binding is sewn on jute cords. The boards are archival Daniel Smith Davy boards, covered with stressed denim, and covered around the spine with soft warm calfskin. The page block has two multicolored woven silk headbands, from Hollander’s. The book opens and lays flat. The combination of the worn denim cloth, and the calfskin around the spine, gives this book a wonderful soft feel in the hands.
