Well, traveling light is key when you’re on the trail, so Maloja built the BrailM. using Gore-Tex Paclite, a 2. 5-layer construction that is waterproof, highly breathable, and packs down to almost nothing. Fully taped seams take the waterproofing from unreal to bombproof, while water-resistant zippers and a drawstring hem help seal you up tightly against the elements. Maloja also hooked the BrailM. up with some pretty unique features. Most significantly, the included arm warmers slide under the jacket’s short sleeves for extra protection, and easily slip off to be packed away in the zippered chest pocket when the sun starts peaking out. Soft elastic and silicone stripes keep the warmers from sliding down your arms. The BrailM. is finished with rear reflective details and a dropped back hem for safety and coverage, respectively, so you don’t get run off the road by a car or get water dripping down your pants when you’re over the bars.
