Plus Annual Filter Kit for 3000 and 4000 Series- This air filter kit fits the Amaircare 3000 Amaircare 4000 the Amaircare 3050 and the Amaicare 4050 portable HEPA air purifiers- (This is only the filter kit no air purifier units are included) – The Plus Annual Filter Kit contains 3 Carbon Pre-Filters and one 1 VOC Canister filter- These replacement filters typically keep an Amaircare Series 3000 or Series 4000 HEPA air filter unit operating at maximum efficiency for one year- The VOC canister filter is superior to the standard VOC filters in removing Volatile Organic Compounds- VOC’s are gasses and chemicals that are emitted in your home from objects and products like: paints household cleaning chemicals furniture etc- Carbon acts as a sponge to adsorb V-O-C-‘s- The standard carbon blanket that comes with every Amaircare product is a very effective ‘sponge’ but with carbon the more surface area there is the more V-O-C-‘s it can adsorb- So the more carbon thebetter- Amaircare provides this optional V-O-C- Canister with all of it’s Central Systems and most of it’s Portable systems- The V-O-C- Canister has a much larger surface area of carbon so it’s collection capacity is greatly increased- This makes the V-O-C- Cartridge the filter of choice for situations where increased V-O-C- Removal is important- This VOC is the 100% Carbon: All Carbon to remove most common chemicals and odours- Fits the 16″ Americare models including the 3000 3050 4000 and 4050 units- SKU: AMAR031
