The Plustek nDVR 580 supports 8 channel CCTV cameras. It easily integrates with existing CCTV cameras and there is no need for re-cabling, cable splicing or camera recalibration. The nDVR has a built-in web interface that is used for set-up, configuration, live view and playback. With H.264 and Motion JPEG compression, the nDVR delivers high-quality video streams with less bandwidth and storage capacity. The nDVR580 is equipped with 3 motion detection windows for each channel, which adds value to the surveillance system with activities monitoring. The smart streaming is provided with a 10-second pre-alarm buffer for event recording, which prevents the loss of important videos. An email notification option can notify security personnel in response to the alarm. Plustek also provides Video Management Software (VMS) option, which supports up to 128 channels and includes video on demand capability. The software also allows users to view video channels from multiple locations on one screen, manage backup schedule and more.
