The extremely flat base is not only uniquely elegant and robust, but is also made from a particularly robust ABS plastic which withstands impacts, shocks and all commercially available cleaning and disinfecting products. But users’ feet do not have to be shock-resistant because the edges of base and weighing platform are gently rounded. This is how safe glass can be. It is possible to slip off glass, particularly with wet feet. Not so with the seca marina 817: thanks to special furnace varnishing which puts a groove structure right across the glass plate. This guarantees a safe foothold and maximum protection against slipping.
